Built in 2014, Shivar Agro Tourism offers urbanites an experience of living on a farm and farming experiences. Shivar Agro tourism is located a mere 90 km from Mumbai, which is approx 2 hours of pleasurable driving distance. We have a Bungalow, A dormitory, and a tent stay that can host a family, a group of friends, and a corporate team. We also organize one-day events like the "Watermelon Festival" and "To Be a farmer" events which give unmatched farming experiences along with fun and adventure.
Our farm is adjacent to the agro-tourism center and grows a variety of grains, fruits, and vegetables. We grow authentic Wada Kolam rice (June-October) Watermelon & other melons (November - March), plantation of Mango (Kesar), Papaya and Chikkoo, and more. It is our constant endeavor to transform to sustainable farming and tourism, which you can experience during your stay with us.
During the lockdown in March'2020, Rahul decided to bring fresh produce from their farm directly to consumers. This initiative started with summer fruits mango, watermelons chikoo, and papaya and then was extended to rice and other grains and many more.
